Our story
Built around IRC. Built to be useful.
TG007 was founded in early 2002 under the name TechGear007. The original goal was straightforward: help MSN Chat users understand IRC clients, bots and the tools that made online communities work.
That focus quickly grew beyond software support. The Forum became a place to ask questions, share knowledge and help with a wider range of technology and community topics.
When the MSN Chat network ended in 2006, TG007 did not end with it. The site continued to evolve while keeping the same basic purpose: preserve useful information, share practical resources and give people a place to help one another.
