Overview
e-GetWeather 3.5 is a lightweight mIRC weather script that lets users retrieve current weather conditions directly from an IRC channel using a simple .w command.
Weather information is now powered by the wttr.in JSON weather service, replacing the older HTML-scraping method used by previous versions. This makes weather lookups more reliable and provides cleaner access to current conditions and forecast data.
Users can search by city, ZIP/postal code, or other supported location formats. Once a location has been entered, e-GetWeather remembers it so the user can simply type .w for future lookups.
Weather results include:
Resolved city, region/state, and country
Current temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius
Feels-like temperature
Daily high and low temperatures
Humidity
Current weather conditions
Today's general forecast
Wind speed in MPH and KPH
Wind direction

e-GetWeather also includes saved-location management, channel-specific enable/disable controls, weather lookup logging, HTTPS weather requests, timeout and fallback handling, improved location encoding, and additional protections against malformed or unusually large weather responses.
