dcx doesnt like vista though , thats why i dont use it i tried to dock a dialog over mircs nicklist and it doesnt work correctly so after wasting all that time trying i decided to dump dcx and go back to mdx

this ones basically a socket connection for each new nick and you can chat through all the nicks at once lol or through just one, depending on how you set it can also be used to make channels look fuller than they are

if you look in some of my other posts on here and other topics you will see i have been making a lot of new dialogs and one is modes and is also together in the access dialog so it has access/except/ban/modes all in one dialog

josh what exactly you trying to do cause i think your explinations a bit confusing you want to open a dialog but keep focus set on the chan window? if so you may want to look at $window in the help file if however you want to set focus...

ok got really bored today and decided to do this you can type a word in the box and click enter and it will search the log for that word, as you can see in the screen shot

changed it now used mdx move control to move the items in the dialog up to the top and then hide the buttons when there is a name in the notify list as in the 2 screen shots below

yes you can hide the channels list window however how i did it was to hide it on open so it doesnt show in the bar and then grab it and add it to the dialog even though its hidden it still shows when its in the dialog
