Sometimes you get that from msn. When you leave sometimes it takes awhile for the server to realize you actually left. Just keep trying, and you should be able to join eventually.

ClearMSN 5.4, and Vincula N'GEN3 are two of some connections that are ocxless. Either should work well for you.
Try either Vincula TG, or Vincula Ngen3.1. Both work very well.
