SS or desktop using Openbox WM instead of Gnome... Cleaner IMO 
A few times since I started working for my current employer I've seen "Keyboard failure. Press F1 to continue" on PCs that don't have a keyboard plugged in.
I don't get paid to know the answer, therefore I'm far more likely to give you a straight and honest answer.
