Web-chatz4 error messages?

Ok not new to scripts but this is annoying me. downloaded webchat wanted to see what was up with it cuz it looked kinda cool. but it doesnt seem to want to work at all?????? I added a copy of mirc and tried loading the webchat mrc file nut it comes up with some thing bout a dialog is not found? how do i set this thing up?

like loading the supplied connection with it [clearMSN/vincula]. It may work after that, if not you'll have to try and get in touch with the creator.

I had an that problem with the simple nicklist, apparenlty, you cant have spaces in the location where your script is, relocate your script to a folder that doesn't have spaces in the folders name for now

Okay, I just now tried it out new, and saw some error messages myself. So, here is what to do.

Open Web-ChatZ4.mrc, and find line 97.

Change that entire line to this...

 if (!$exists($shortfn($mircdir) $+ c54\pps.ini)) && ($script(clearmsn)) { dialog -mod xmain xmain }

Next, find line 318. Change that entire line to this...

This should take care of those error messages.

Those error messages won't shouldn't interfere with Web-ChatZ4. So, those of you who downloads the addon should just ignore it. I will post an update asap.

still getting the following:

* /dialog: 'Window' no such table (line 1228, Web-ChatZ4.mrc)

have to try to connect a couple times before it will actually connect comes up with:

You have not registered

Also trying to select the screen seems tempermental makes me minimize it then maximize it again.

using term like wtf doesnt show me what i typed but still sends it to the channel.

Show time would look better if it put it next to the nick

Also no mirc popups in the channel shows my ie popups

And last but not least doesnt seem to want to show when other users are away?

all i noticed so far. im gettin kinda boggled

Yeah I noticed those bugs too. doesnt show others in there cups when they go away and you can't access nicklist popups.

Strange. mine is working fine. As for the "You have not registered" bit that is for the ClearMSN connection. Instead of joining #channelname use %#channelname instead. That works alot better.

Also, I made it to where you can turn the nicklist icons on, and off. Just go into the "Webchat" menu, go to "Nicklist" menu, the "Show Icons" menu, and click "On" to turn them on.

As for the " /dialog: 'Window' no such table (line 1228, Web-ChatZ4.mrc)" that just means it is trying to make the nicklist in a window that isn't on a channel. So, that is nothing to worry about, and shouldn't interfere with anything.

i would really like to use the webchat bot as well, with clearmsn but i dont know where to start or which file to load and in which order. maybe someone with some time could maybe submit to download a complete working version, just a thought for the people who dont fully understand, but would like to use

It should work. However, I haven't tested it out yet with it. That, plus the ClearMSN that is already in it was edited by me to show nonsubs in the nicklist. I'll try to get a copy of 5.2, and edit it to also show nonsubs, and give it to you.
