white widow 2.0

i've been tryin for days to figure a way to get white widow 2 to support long room names ..................anyone have any suggestions other than to use vincula .........any coding help would be appreciated

no offense to vex but nuclear wont handle a long room name either ........although it is a good connection .................i'm looking to support names greater than 100 characters

I'm wondering why you need an room has greater than 100 characters?

i help a few friends from canada keep thier rooms open and they like the long room names .......i like vincula but it doesnt have mass create or mass join abilities .............help would be appreciated

He wants to put 80 !'s at the start so he gets to be on top of the msn chat list.. at least till someone else copies him lol

modifying an already made connection which you didn't create is never a good idea because you will eventually run into a problem. I would recommend not using BlackBox and find a connection which does handle long room names. Good place to start is Elite Scripterz, i know they are all babies over there and all they do is complain but i've seen some pretty nice things come from there.

o.O nuclear does too support long room names, i was just in a room with a name 194 characters long...

I think what he's saying Vex, is that Nuclear cant create rooms that long.Cause I tried last night.

sorry vex .....my copy of nuclear will join a room with a long name then dc's . wont stay put for me (maybe i am running an early vers. ) as for creating i dont know i didnt try .....it wouldnt stay in one so i figure it wouldnt create one either...if you have updated it to work please post a link for it i would be interested in trying out .

and gate i figured i'd ask the question here first before i went searchin for something that may or may not work ......i know the knowledge base here is top notch .....was hoping someone would have an idea at least .

nuclear won't create room names that long because in my view it's pointless to do that just so your room can be on the top of the list, a little childish. it does join long rooms, but i won't be adding creation support.

I dont know about the part of being childish, especially if you have room in lifestyles or romance in the us, you need to have an room with that much characters to be on the first page.

thats why they have links to pages 2,3,4.. etc
