I have a fresh copy of 6.14 and 6.16 for my tests

my code works great with 6.14 but doesn't work with 6.16

try this copy your old script into diffrent directory, and goto mirc 6.16 and just copy mirc.exe alone, just the file, and paste it over the old mirc.exe , This should work, if not than like he said, there is something realy wrong or a diffrent set of code in your old script that needs to be changed in a major way .

I have 6.16, and it works great for me. I think something might be wrong with your 6.16 installation then, or something. You might need to reinstall 6.16. Maybe get a fresh copy from http://www.mirc.com, then uninstall mirc 6.16 that you have, and install the new copy.

the thing that is strange is that i have 2 computers and i have the same problem on both, i did format one of them a few days ago, same problem

Did you download a new copy of mirc 6.16 to your other computer from http://www.mirc.com, or did you use the one from your old computer?

I have not tried your code, In faith I will now, I will report what I find ok

Warrior124, i downloaded a fresh version 6.16 from www.mIRC.com and only added the code for safehost and Vincula NGen, it doesn't work.

then i downloaded a fresh version 6.14 and tested it with safehost code and Vincula NGen, it works great.

Just tried your code from first posting and it works great so there is something wrong with another add on in your script

I do like they say start unloading other mrc that you added and try each time to see what mrc or add on is making it not work

Other than that, Stick with 6.14

i have uninstalled and deleted all mirc files from my pc

then installed mIRC 6.16, added just Vincula NGen and safehost code.

Also tried Eaglenest25311's idea.

It still doesn't work

What the file called with the deopt in it any way, Maybe I can try the hole File and see if something in it is making it stop.

That makes sence now, Ok than if you no how to search for script editor, than hit search and click on search (find text) and look for on *:Deop or just word Deop, hit F3 Key tell you see the line where it conflicks, and desable it

i did the search, the only deop i have is the one in the safehost code

Have you tried changing msn.server.* to $sockname?

in any of your controlls does it have it that you can safe host or and anti-host in protections? in main or other menue?
