Yeah I have the latest download of the connection from TG and all the required files and it worked fine before, but now for no reason I can explain all I get when I start up mIRC is

* nüclearmsn : opening lookup server connections

* nüclearmsn : opening subscription lookup server connection

* nüclearmsn : opening groups lookup server connection

* nüclearmsn : opening groups lookup server connection

* nüclearmsn : opening groups lookup server connection

* nüclearmsn : opening groups lookup server connection

* nüclearmsn : opening groups lookup server connection

* nüclearmsn : opening groups lookup server connection

Then it just stops at that. No Passport updates, no error messages, not even anything in my RAW window (slapped together for non MSN chatting).

I tried a stripped (clean/brand new/fresh) mIRC with ONLY the connection and that doesn't work, and so far I haven't seen any other fixes. Although I'll admit there might be one I didn't spot, I'm not very good at looking stuff up. Thanks for any help as always.

its been doing that to me at work because the ISP here severely the number of concurrent TCP connections. i dont know why it wouldnt update the passport tho. heres a quick idea... close all sockets (/sockclose *) then open passport setup (/msn.ppsetup) and make sure u have select the correct passport as 'default' then click Apply. then click the update button. when it updates, close the dialog, and enter the command /msn.lookcon to open the lookup server conns. if that doesnt work.. uhh.. continue hounding me about it and ill see whats up

well vexation first let me say i love the nuclear...took awhile to get it and i also had same issue as ya post above........i had to reload in script save and exit twice then i shut script then reopened it and loaded passport info..........then i had to shut script and reopen script i dont know why but it worked fine after that.......not sure if firewall or system corrupt whatever the case it did work so maybe rather than him input passport info on direct load maybe try reopening.......just offering what worked for me and the connection wks in almost three of my scripts fine.

hmmmmmmm i don`t have any trouble with nuclear none of em?

Vex thanks for trying to help so far... I tried what you suggested and instead of stopping after it repeated itself, it took twice as long to stop. Perhaps I should reinstall mIRC? and just start it off fresh again? dunno. but thnx so far.
