Ummmm does anyone know how i can change my nick... coz i want to change it to Neil (real name) instead of skribblez

I read somewhere that registered nicks can't be changed. And if you can anyways and there is someone else with that nick that you want. You can always use especial caracteres they look like little scuares on the nick list but they look like letters on the main chat's screen.
Am I speaking clear on here??
