Where is it??

I know I have probably missed pages and pages of messages about this since it went mad a few weeks ago, but I have just reinstalled KENOBI to get trivia working in my msn group chatroom (I uninstalled it when it stopped working to get a fresh start) and there is now no COOKIE GRABBER. It was a brilliant invention - made especially for the clueless like me, and it's not there now!

Where is it??

Or, can someone please tell me how to re-add my msn groups chatroom so I can get the trivia bot running in there again?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

there is a cookie grabber

go to kenobi commands

vincula passport updater

then choose the option you want ( for groups this would be "update cookies + userrole")

Its asking for a URL.

I presume that its asking for my groups address.

How should it be typed in?

I faintly remember typing %# something or other last time. My memory isnt too good. Sorry. :-S

just type in the group url

eg http://groups.msn.com/techgear007net

or you can do %#G_techgear007net

when i do /join %$G_groupname , it says groupname not found. Why is that although that i've updated the userrole and cookies.

not sure if its a typo but it should be %#G_groupname

make sure if the room has you or someone else already in it before u go to join with script

Yea sorry that was a typo, but i already have my other id in the room and it still can't get in, the same error pops up that "not found".

Try using just G_groupname when it asks for the URL while running the kenobi for the first time after extracting, & while updating the userrole & cookies just use ur groupname.I hope this will work, it works for me.!!!

If your using vincula i dont think you can simply use /join it has some other command i beleive.. goto the popups, join room (groups) and enter G_groupname

Yup. I get that error message come up too. I think it says something like "No group name found in URL" or something along those lines. I have tried all combinations too. Using G_groupname, %#G_groupname etc... nothing working,yet.

This was why I loved the TG Grabber. It did all the hard work for you and found the groups automatically. I will keep trying until it either works or I have an aneurysm! xxx

I am having trouble getting kenobi into my group room for what reason I cant work out the

tg cookie grabber (TheGateKeeper) isnt working is this because of the updates msn are doing and is there a new tg cookie grabber to download. I have tryed hybrid007 but the cookie grabber in that dont work, I can get GuardDog into the room but it hasnt got a trivia and I havent got a clue how to put a trivia into GuardDog.

download the latest kenobi , there is a new version and has a diff cookie grabber in

that should get you back in the rooms

Re dl'ed Kenobi to see if it was working right...Had no issues...Went right in...

As far as getting trivia into GD, just dl the script, then unzip it to the main GD directory, and just load it up. Should work fine.

As far as Hybrid goes, I changed the vincula with nuclear 6.0 and its working geat as well.

I am not sure if you can use Kenobi with nuclear, but try.

You cant do that unless you do some HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY editing. The sockwrites wont match up, and most of the script wont match up.

They cant rest i.e. when Bill Gates started Windows 95 he had to go on and on and on now he has Windows xp Home & windows xp Pro and omg .. he is trying Windows Vista .. so no hope for my mates ozzy & err0r .. you have got to do another tg cookie grabber for kenobi .. dont look up in the sky you wont find the answer up there excuses excuse .. ok ok ban me to the arcade. had to say it guys

Kenobi with MIRC v17 isnt working too great and the nicklist dialog is a bit messed anyone can help? is there an older version?

i will change it back to 6.16 after weekend
