I notice I do get No permissions to perform command, but um everything is correct???

I also can't download the ocx on webchat...

Could you post the entire code here? It has to be something in the coding, and perhaps someone might be able to help you out if we can see the script code. Plus, I also noticed that you got a raw 908 which means that the that some command was sent to the server, but the server disallowed it, because of no subscription information. However, I don't think that would've kept you from connecting.

could you also post what connection you are using so we have a better idea on how to solve your problem.

I am using ClearMSN 2.0 which can be found from Techgear007.

Yes, I had this same problem, myself. What it is is that msn had messed something up. The new ocx is located under a url that is different from the one where you usually get it during installation of the chat control.

So what do I do? Contact them, uninstall service packs, etc...

Sorry for the late reply, Kent. Download the msnchat45.cab from >>here<<. Once you have it, unzip all contents to C:\Windows\System. Then, register the msnchat45.ocx, and it should work, then.

i do beleive , if you click open , instead of save , it extracts and registers the ocx

Do you have subscriberinfo in vars?

on sockopen you send nick, then when you recieve your gkp you send user.

OR you just prop the msnregcookie at that point.

however trying to send nick then will result in what it does in your case.

your ocx is fully registered and working properly, otherwise you wouldnt recieve a gkp in the first place.

try what i suggested.

It is because this thread is very old. It was first created back in April.

must be a glitch in the date.. cause most of those post was new but say april i checked the old post from april and there wasnt one of this.
