CAN YOU HELP ME HOW TO JOIN TO AN MSN GROUP CHAT ROOM USING VINCULA? PLEASE......
joining an MSN Chat Group chat room through vincula.
First, add your passport to vincula by doing the following:
1. In the menu along the top, open up the "vincula options"
2. Select "change vincula settings..."
3. Along the tabs, click "Passport"
4. In the 3 checkboxes you see infront of you, mark them all, and put in space of hours, 12
5. Select "Add Passport" on the same screen
6. In the dialog that appears will in the following information
Entry Name [what identity you want the passport to have], nickname [the nickname you want the bot to use in a room], email address [what email address you want the bot to use], password [the password for that email address].
7. Then click "OK"
8. On the main vincula dialog, click "OK"
9. In the Vincula Options Menu, select "Update passport + user role"
10. Put the group name in for which you wish to join. [note the passport your bot uses, must have a membership to the group]
11. Once it says that user role was retrieved successfully, goto vincula options > Join room (groups) > normal...
12. Put the same room name in, but with a G_ at the front this time [example, if the group was GuarDDog, in the updater i would put GuarDDog, but in the join room bit, i would put G_GuarDDog]
13. Click "OK"
and you should now be in the group room.
