Hybrid Omega

I really like Hybrid Omega. I got the right version of vincula and several addons in it finally and it works great. Except for one major thing. I cant see names with odd ball fonts. My actual chat name is done in odd ball fonts and I cant even read my own name. Please if anyone knows of a way or an addon or something that will allow me to see names normally, let me know. I would greatly apperciate it.

that can really only be solved within the connection. I wouldn't worry to much about it, just put this in the remotes section of your script.

it wont decode the nicklist, but it will atleast clear up the name of the person you just clicked a little. And if you click the result it will put the result into a clipboard.

Thank you very much for that code. But I have to ask. I have had Hybrid running with three different connections, Clearmsn54,Clearmsn54d, and now VinculaEZR41 and it has always stayed the same as far as the nicknames being messed up. Oh well. Once again Thanks for the code.

as i said, it can only be solved by the connection. None of the connection out now though have the fix. I am working on my own connection and i am able to do it in there, but if i gave you the modification, you would need to change everything else in the script to have it run properly again, so just use the code i gave you.

Hmmm Mail, I didnt change anything and the nicks are decoded in my vincula when they join or leave.

yeah you can decode them like that but then mirc will think the decoded nick is in the room, which isn't true. its the actual (unreadable) nick thats in the room. if you decode the nicknames that way, none of your commands will work on decoded nicknames because those names don't technically exist.

Doesnt the option "decode incoming text" work?

i thought he was changing it in the join/part sockreads. i guess hes changing in the theme.

hybrid omega is a good script. the only reason why some people insult it or "diss" it is because soo many people have it. im happy with it.
