viper bot question

hi guys, first of all I know that there is opened current topic about viper bot but last post there is 1 year ago lol.

can viper bot join msn groups now? and if yes then how?

I downloaded viper bot 3.38.17 and got the needed ocx and used register OCX (CTRL + O), viper bot registered ocxs and everything was fine but when I tried to join normal room (not group just to check if it works or not) I always get you couldn't be succefully authenticated by the chat server.....

any help please?

go to the download section of this site, then find the viper bot section..go there and down the group pack. It has an read me , you must read it cause it tells you how to connect to groups. Make sure you have the Vgrabber as well, cause that's the easier way to save your cookies for viper.

1- I got the dll and registered it in C:\Program Files\ViperBot\ViperBot 3.83

2- I got vbot.mdb and new_vbot and updated them using updater and i got update successed.

3- used vgrabber, joined my community and cliked prase then save and no errors at all.

4- typed g_groupname but I got the same error you couldn't be succefully authenticated by the chat server.

what is the problem ??

Remember that I tried to find chatserver or communityserver but they are already not in my ChatHTML.txt so I did not replace anything

oh yes forgot to say something. I got msnchat45.ocx and msnchatx.ocx from my mirc script and pasted them in viper and changed the name of msnchat45.ocx to msnchat45n.ocx

do I really need to download them or what I did was ok ??

I joined harry potter group and made membership and joined documents and clicked vocxx but the link is brocken.

can you send them to me please in case if I need them ?

Are you signed into the account you joined the group with? if not it wont work lol

lol yes I canceld it but anyway i found the ocx in xyz resources and i got it and registered.

Now i dont get the previous error but now I get that am banned when I try to join the groups (I think that the bot joins as guest_null).

I used vgrabber :S and the vgrabber is in same direcrory where the connection sll is and also the viper.exe

Did you register the group dll?

you mean MSNConnectionVProxy.dll ? yes I registered it and its directory is:

C:\Program Files\ViperBot\ViperBot 3.83

I have in previous directory:

MSNConnectionVProxy.dll

viperbot.exe

VGrabber.exe

Edit: when I click save in the vgrabber, I get Database Updated @ 1/30/2005 7:46:40 PM

It means that data is updated as i guess :s

by the way even the ChatHTML.txt in the community connection of viper has no:

CommunityServer

or

ChatServer

I just searched in the file and did not find anyone of them there.

where did you save the group pack?

i just named a foler called community in the directory: C:\Program Files\ViperBot

but I copied everything in it to other directories:

1- replaced ChatHTML.txt by the CHATHTML.txt in the grouppack in directory: C:\Program Files\ViperBot\ViperBot 3.83\VTS

2- pasted MSNConnectionVProxy.dll and VGrabber.exe in C:\Program Files\ViperBot\ViperBot 3.83

that is all

Edit: while am joining the group using viper, I see <<bot mode>> so it means that the ocx is registered also as I think :S

maybe check on webchat if your an guest null lol

I cant ehck on web chat now because I installed theme for groups lol but I really wonder how come I get that am banned ? ?

can you check and try to join any group that you are not a member in it and tell me what you get ? maybe the vgrabber does not work well here lol

edit: should I check word passport beside buttons Add Change remove in viper ?

Yes, that's probably why it was saying you were banned

Open up the vgrabber, click current user, then type in your group chat link, then hit go when you connected to your group chat hit parse, then hit save. there you go.
