i was chatting fine on msn groups, until i tried to use ozzy's kenobi script. i loaded it all up, and added passport, and then ozzy told me to type /msn.resetocx. i guess this messes with the ocx's. now, when i go to msn groups webchat, there's just a box with an X. i didn something, and now it goes to the install page, but where the red smiley is suppose to go, it's just an X also. how can i fix this? i deleted the script also

Dont start blaming the script for this

IT does NOT ness up the ocx

just close all internet exploere windows and then open the script

when you see the message "noraml ocx regd" close the script and open ie and join a room

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

im not blaming the script. it's just messed up my ocx files :$

ozzy,

go to

c drive

windows

downloaded program files

and check if the ocx is in there

nope it's not

well thats nothing to do with the script

kenobi has tried to reg the ocx where it should be , thats why

try this link

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/markten/needed/msnchat45.html

then check that the ocx is where i said

Maybe you need to clear your internet cache and that'll re install the ocx.

Custom Computer

AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 5200+

Asus M2N-SLI MOB

2GB DDR2 @ 800mhz

160GB Hard Drive

NVidia GeForce 8400GS 256

Molsonâ„¢ is half right do what he says then if it didnt work try registering in other username.

if it worked let me know

Click Here and unzip it to WINDOWS SYSTEM. Then go to start then run and paste this into the box there. Regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\msnchat45.ocx. Next time you have problems go back to start then run and click ok after highlighting this line. Chat ocx will be re-registered again.

if there is no ocx in the C:\Windows\Downloaded Internet FIles then goto the script that u use and make a batch file

regsvr32 /u MSNChatX.ocx

in your script directory. YOu can make a make a batch file using notepad but save as a .bat

also clear your temp internet files / and cookies and if u can find the certificate MSN chat. Delete it aswell. IF all else fails read the help link thats on the install page for chat

Your better off to have a friend than to be all alone.. If you fail, Your friend can help you up.

The link I supplied above is for the chat 45 zip file. If he follows the instructions he will have his chat ocx again.
