I was chatting in ChatCanadaA. And saw someone talking about a Petition to try to get MSN to reinstate the previous Management of the MSN Canadian Chat Rooms. I have noticed since this New management has taken over the rooms have gone down badly. I know a few hosts and what they have told me doesn't sound good. Do the current management even care about us Canadian Chatters?

If it means Guides Shane, Ian, OldSalt and Sysop_Brett are returned I support this Petition 100%. The rooms were a great place to be when they were there.

If you use Canadian chat room check this group out http://groups.msn.com/TheLooNeeBin would be great to see the chat rooms return to what they were like before 1st jan 2004.

Tim_

sorry but if they have gone then there must be a reason, a lot of stuff goes on in the background , maybe they broke msns rules.

I for one wont be signing it , but i have my reasons whicjh i cant go into on here.

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

I notice alot of people from canada complaining about chat and i dont quite understand why.

Msn has made the desicion to go subscription based and well they arnt gonna go back on that desicion anytime soon but all of us living in canada should be pretty damn happy that there still is rooms we can chat on for free unlike almost all other country's who have to pay msn has changed the format on how they moderate rooms and have been letting trusted chatters who have submitted an aplication to msn run the rooms ive heard from a few sources that this is a trial run for a possible unmoderated chat in canada but thats unlikely ive never signed any petition for a free msn canada chat and there are alot of them some even have 100,000 signatures and msn has still done nothing so its more than likely they wont care about this petition aswell.

(Not ment to offend just an opinion)

Why does everybody complain about the canadian chats? There are other countries that dont even have chat! Take Europe. They have nothing. You should be glad you can still chat! Stop complaining and enjoy the chats while you still can before they close completely.

Yeah that is very true. Alot of countries have nothing but the community group and they have no choice. Beside I when one time to a free Canadian chat room and all the chatters there started anoying me when they saw my profile and found out I was not canadian mad.gifmad.gifmad.gif

You and me will all go down in history,

And a Generation that didn't agree.

I myself am Canadian and I used to chat in The free msn chat rooms and well it is not like chat used to be. They are mostly filled with Porn bots and People wanting you to buy stolen computers or stuff like that. Isn't that the reason why msn went to subscription service? and for you people that aren't in canada just go to http://chat.msn.ca and sign in with ur passport and you can get free chat. But as i say it's not worth it.

msn went subscription due to the "Safety aspect"... As now ex msn staff, i lost my job because of it! Now, the rooms are still full with porn bots.... they are just spectated. Not much has changed really.. Same Crap~ jus quieter

I don't like to be picky about MSN but you are right. MSN Groups are not that good. Alot of weird stuff going on in there too.

msn groups are fine , just msn are making changes , thats all.

Maybe people should quit moaning about it and be thankfull that msn still give us some kind of free chat service.

In the uk we have no chat , apart from groups , if we use canadian free chats it messes up some of the things in groups as it changes all your settings to ca.

oh ya i guess it would change the chat control in otherwords right?

In india also msn chat is closed we just chat in Groups like ozzy mentioned. So its just good what msn made.Iam on for it.Msn is making some changes and its good for users.
