I have downloades the SmilesView.dll addon and I uploaded to mIRC just fine.

It does show the smiles in MSN as well as in a IRC server just fine.

The only problem is that it comes with a picture that get on the main screen and then I could see what I was typing on the room but I couldn't see what people was typing back to my comments.

I deleted the pic and re started mIRC but this time the screen was white but still couldn't see peoples comments in the room.

So my question is for someone who got this file and set it up on their client how this is done ????

The girl on the picture is HOT by the way (It is actually a pic of Sarah Michelle "Buffy the Vampire Slayer")

ahh fomr what you said i gather your using the new version 2 of the script , now in the coding for that ull need to remove the following line/s

ok look in the smileview.* file for any lines thate like thw follwoing

       writeln $1 <body ondragstart="return false" onMouseUp="execCommand('Copy');execCommand('Unselect');document.title='dll smilesviewADD.dll SelectEdit $window($1).hwnd ';" bottommargin="0" oncontextmenu="alias('dll DllTmp/Dll $+ $window($1).hwnd $+ .dll menu $window($1).hwnd '); return false;" topmargin=" $+ $window(-1).dw $+ " style="overflow-x:hidden" onDblClick="document.title='channel';" background=" $imgChan ">

all you need to do is remove the following form that line

background=" $imgChan

thats show then allow the script to work weith out using the background image
