Connection Help

When ever I try to enter a group chat using Core-Msn 4.0, I get a "You are not registered" message in the dialog box.

Please help.

"You are not registered" Iam not using Clear MSN chat connection but in some time vincula create same problem i don't know the right problem or bug but this problem create with your nickname cookies.For Example My nickname is decode with long chrecter and i fill nickname value in Cookies it give me that message but i solve it for that like remove nickname cookies and don't change my chatnickname because when you join a chatroom and get message "You are not registered" your script use your cookies nickname but not enter in chatroom.So i remove nickname cookies and leave it blank and join room again and this time its working with me in vincula /msn roomname or in groups /joins -c G_groupname.try same in ClearMSN.

Okay when it says that then that usually means you must update your passport. Also, the passport must be a member of the group you're trying to join. Otherwise you can't join the room.

When you update your passport click on the small button with an arrow pointing down beside the "NuClearMSN" button located on your switchbar. A menu will pop up. Click on "Nu-Core ControlPanel". The "Nuclear ControlPanel" will appear. Click on "MSN Options", and then click on "Edit Passports/Groups...". A dialog box will appear called "NuClear Passport Setup". First, click on the "Update" button. Then once your passport says it is updated click on the groups roomname you want to join. Then click on the "Join" button to join your groups room. You should be able to join now.

In 'CORE' all it ever says is

" connecting to server "

" updating passport "

Whats that all about?

Well connecing servers means its connecting to group server and Subscription chat server updating passport means ur passport is being updated .

it says it constantly.

Well it connects for all just what operating system your if its 2000 r xp see that your an administrator it will surely connect if its for 98se it would connect very easily:) .

Okay, signed onto the admin account, and it connected.

now it just wont update the passport.

Was it made for like,MSN chats only, or for groups aswelll?

It was made for both msnchat, and groups. You just have to have your passport as a member of a group in order for it to get the UserRole if you want to join a groups room.. Otherwise it won't be able to join the groups room.

Now update the passport there is an command for that and do you see Subscription server and group server connected update your passport it will update it and in Nuclear msn toolbar goto passport setup just click the show all button there you would see the list of groups you have registered yourself and the next thing there are 2 option either you can update the user role of all groups or just the single one

1) For updating user role for all the groups just click update all it will update all user roles in abt 40 seconds .

2)For updating an single group just click it and it will be highlighted and juct click the update button the specified userrole for the group will be updated .

After the user role updated just click the join room you can join the room and start chatting .

Okay, I got it to connect and stuff.

* Opening Server Connections...

* Updating Passport - [email protected]

* Subscription Lookup Server Connected

* Groups Lookup Server Connected

that should be right, si?

Now I go to Passport set up.

click show all.

it shows all ma groups.

Now I hit Update all.

All groups are updated.

I click on a room that says, its open.

Click, join room.

and the lil screen goes blank.

and it says at the top.

Updating.

Now what?

is this like, to hard//easy for you guys or somesthing?

It should join room when the group user role is updated if your getting some problem may be because of your Isp which i cant be able to help you out.Anyway i will try to help you out.

Please close the script delete the passport and also delete the passport stuffs in remote.ini .Now add your passport again and follow the above stuffs may be this will help you out .
