this all works on ircxpro
Some of these modes that Webagent had posted here mean something different at the MSN chat rooms though. Or a least I don't know but as example
+i means invited only at MSN chat room.
+h means hidden
+s turn the room secret
+t anyone can change the topic
+w no whispers
+ etc, etc, etc.
So I don't really know how to set these other modes. Or are they for admin only ???

All of the modes Webagent posted are usermodes, not channel modes.
i, h, s and t (Channel modes, not user) mean the same on IRCX as they do on IRCD, IRCU and MSN.
umodes != channel levels
on IRCX, the following channel levels are supported:
.Owner = +q
@Host = +o
+Voice = +v
Normal = -qov
umodes are almost always different from IRC server to IRC server. here is a list of all of the umodes that ignitionServer supports. I need to update it for ignitionServer 0.3.6, but it's otherwise complete.

+t is only ops to set topic.

right?
I thought he was talking about Chanmodes. As far as I know noone here is a MSN staff member to be talking about their Usermodes with us.

being as this is in the IRCX forum, I think he was asking if IRCX servers have the same modes MSN does, so he can transition easily from MSN to IRCX.
that being the case, IRCX servers are IRCDs (don't argue with me unless you happen to use UNIX -- IRCX is an extension to the IRC protocol, and IRCD means "IRC Server") -- which means that different kinds (ignitionServer, IRCXpro, etc.) will have different channel and user modes (although some will be the same -- i.e. the ones that are standard).
so that's why I posted the iS mode list.

Ftr, Webby probably knows more about MSNChat than the majority of their staff anyway
No arguements about that.
But yes All IRC server no matter "X" or "d" Or wathever they are, they do have the the same modes unless they get set up differently.

If the problem still persists, make sure you have at least "NP" in your O: line (NP - netadmin, highprot).

actually, this is fixed in CVS, but not released. I'll work harder on 0.3.7 then...
