I tried to install a new VTS, and Viper crashed.

Hi all, I have some major issues concerning Viper. I DL'ed and installed 16d, and all the little nuences that follow, I had it runnin ok, then I DL'ed the Bonus Pack file, and it ran like the super bot it can be. I was happier then a pig in s..poop..I have run the Viper on and off for awile now, so I know when it rund smooth. I wanted a new skin. So...I decided to use the 'rose red' VTS file. I did everything exact!!!!!!! Once I did it, the Viper would crash, !hard! when trying to get to my room in 'bot' mode! It Just would not load. I uninstalled all. Tried over, and now the data base does not update. WTF? I did what I was told to here to make the new skin, and now, I have no Viper. No matter what I try to install, it just does not work. BTW< I tried the 16j version, and the file I got was totally empty..If someone can tell what went wrong I woulg be thankful...Sincerely, SIC

hi, it is probably the content of ChatHTML.txt inside C:\Program Files\ViperBot\ViperBot 3.83\VTS, but you can keep the theme the way you like it.

 

Check inside your ChatHTML.txt if the classid is this: CLASSID="CLSID:ECCDBA05-B58F-4509-AE26-CF47B2FFC3FE"

 

And what do you have as server value? <PARAM NAME="Server" VALUE="207.68.167.253:6667">

 

I'm not sure wich connection you use (version of the connection dll) but you could try the latest one if you don't have that already (download, save in your viper folder, rightklick it and choose "Register Active X dll")

the html txt files is ok i checked..

first time i have heard of a vts install crashing viper...

My 32bit system is faster than 64 bit

why change, i gonna let me 64bit cpu collect alittle dust for now lol!
