New Connection By autobb COULD be on its way

Welp, i've been working on a new connection, that uses boxcar.dll

The DLL was created by Kozzy, so he's gunna get credits If i release

the connection so far is very stable, i'm not going to add mass joiners

or anything like that if people want to they can, the reason im not

is simple.. if i want to go to another room i normally just open another mirc which makes it simple i do that cus i dont feel like opening more sockets then needed which will slow down the connection, but not by much.. i havent decided what im gunna call the connection yet.. or even if im going to release.. will see though

if i do decide to release con, please put some requests here I.E

Flooding prots,

Cloners (prob will be there anyways)

Aop's (Event, not sockread)

banlist (event not sockread) - the kick (+o/q) will be sockread

(just dont need to clutter sockread events..) unless its absoutly needed.. so yah post what u think i should add.. kthx =]

** UPDATE: although if enought people request sockread banlist (onjoin) sence the event +q/o will be sockread, then ill just add it in pfft.. lol

if you really want the connection to be effective, take everything out of it and don't really put any features into it. Keep it basic and quick.

Most people have all their own protections and what have you anyway.

Just make sure it wont lag out, rejoins the room reliably when kicked or when msn moofs the room, and automaticly updates and manages all the cookies for msn chat rooms and group rooms.

i dont know if im going to add group joiing, i dont find groups to be worth a msn made connection.. but maybe.., so will see what happenes.. keep posting.. thx

hes just gauging a response and seeing what other users would like to see in a connection

yer what tomas said its better to see what people would like in a msn chat connection so that he can add them and make it a good connection so yeah

msn groups are a part of msn, if your connection doesnt support groups then it is incomplete and lots of people will be unhappy

i so agree with DalienX if it doesnt have a sweet group joiner i wont use it. its all im in msn for these days as well as alot of others i know. i only use msn for the group chat room.

alright, if im in the mood ill add a group joining alias, lol, i never made my connection join groups so, ill probly get people (Whoever Knows how to make connections) to make me a group joining alias, if not ill use some one elses and credit it... PFF u guys should use msn chat instead of msn groups.. but.. to each there own.. KEEP posting things u want to see, cus i might just add them.

So.. Like i said, keep posting what you feel should be in the connection, im working on the msn group joining.. so just be patient.

I have both, an msn room and a group room.

What i do is direct the non-subscribed people into the group room so they can talk

just simple make an alias that checks to see if u have %subinfo, and if not, use the group cookies *_*

fixed a connection bug that would crash mIRC if too many bytes were sent

Still waiting For Group Joining code, if u want it then ill add it other wise not, even tho i dont want to lag the connection out or slow it down the lookup servers thats why i want a specfic alias so it dosent interfear with the msn chat lookup server
