If there thinking of closing Msn groups are they also going to shut down the msn messenger server.
MSN will never close Hotmail Messenger or groups unless they had huge finacial difficulties or a major real life problem with them eg: like chat part of the reason chat was closed was due to acts of child molestation and pedophilia so if things liek that got out of hand they would but besides that no i cant see why they would ever close either and the post in teh new was April fools joke if u read the thread after it.
A Fre poeple have been telling me they was thinking of closing and do what they did to chat and make em pay Dont ask why but i did hear they have been thinking about it and if it closes well Skew msn lol
While MSN Chat is open, Microsoft makes money. Closing MSN Chat is not a "financially smart" move. It's not closing any time soon. They mainly started charging to get rid of the spam bots that they couldn't control. Like, why would a spammer pay Microsoft to spam? That'd be stupid.
Messenger is MSN's most used product. Killing it would be stupid. Snopes explains.

When I read the thread about groups closing it sounded sort of realistic because if msn made chat subscription for child abuse they might do the same for groups because, those kind of people could still go into group chat rooms.

I hope they don't ever think of closing groups in the future.
Msn would go out of bussiness if they closed too many of their services.
That is right I seen a lot of porn pics on the Groups images. Another thing out of control in MSN chat and also groups is SPAM and flooders. I think they should try to stop that.

As long as such groups are set as adult groups then msn wont do anything.
As for the spamming bit, well they can bearly keep that out of the msn room let alone groups, and nobody spams or floods in my group, perhaps its just a matter of having decent management
yes but would u beleive a mates group of mine hrmm australians with msn was the group name lol got closed for having to many members come on how slack is that
