well as all of you know, GuarDDog v. 4 has been out for quite some time, and now that i've got holidays, i've started work on GuarDDog v. 5. Basically I'm making my own connection this time around only because features that i want to make would be pointless to do if i made it with other connections because other connections tend to get updated. Anyways, this is what i've got so far.

Basically the features this has so far is access list viewer [as seen], hop, clone, auto decoder [as seen] and also the ability to join those really really long room names [something that a lot of connections struggle with]. I've had it running in a room for quite some time now, and it doesn't seem to lag much. All mIRC commands like $nick and $chan work as they do, so there is no special coding that you need to do to have this work.

Features still in progress are profile reader, room creator, room lister.

However, the connection [DogCollar] is exclusive to GuarDDog v. 5 and will not be released as a public connection.

What do you think of it so far, and also what would you like to see in this connection that i haven't listed here. All comments are welcome.

i put it under some testing to see just how much it could take. I managed to get into 10 msn chat rooms. 5 in which were rooms which were listed on MSN as having 190+ characters for their room name, and the connection had no problem at all joining them.

Looks good gate keeper

dont forget thanks to me for being a git lol

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

Here is one of the new features i've been working on.

Change the font size of the person's name. Also, I reckon you should've just used a thumbnail for the person's pic then, when clicked on, it opens a separate dialog (or picwin) with the picture in it.

modified and replaced image.

This is looking very impressive so far! I anxiously await the opportunity to try this new version out!

as you always have done before with the other GuarDDog`s.......v.5 looks great keep up the great work Keeper

arr, alpha stages? i have been redesigning dialogs to get them all the same so they are easy to config, and follow. But yea, once i get the dialogs all together, it will be pretty much straight out protection coding and that. If all goes to plan i can release a really basic GD5, and just have it so that you can get your own features and put them in.

Awesome, mate. The beta versions are terrific. Can't wait to try the new one.

GateKeeper looks good on the flood lets await and see when its finnished how it holds out....

Well done m8
