Trouble with Techgear007 cookie grabber

Hi,

i've just downloaded and tried the new Techgear007 cookie grabber

i did exactly what is wrotten in "read first" txt, it updates everything except UserRole

that's what it says :

[03:55:44] ERROR: Cannot get User Role for Alias

[03:55:44] Passport info for (Alias) is now Updated (1.051 seconds)

Anyone can help to fix it please ?

have you added the group email in the top box and made sure the passport your using is a member of that group?

cause that error looks like either wrong group name or the passports not a member

yes and remember to type the group name without %# so if your group is called Dream, Type Dream only not %#g_dream or %#dream or #dream or g_dream

just add the email of the group in the top box and it sorts it for you

Well its little wierd , i get the same problem and i juse Hybrid Omega in my own group and i juse Kenobi Final in a canadian group

and i do same config in both !

the top one happens when the passport your using is NOT a membet of the group your trying to get the role for , however this will be fixed in the next version as it will only grab ones your a member of

Well that nickname is member in both group and also the owner in the both

and the Hybrid is running in the group right now.. but Kenobi have vincula 4.8

and Hybrid have vincula 4.9, if that could be the problem!?

But anyway as long they run in groupchat with now bigger problem

use another script , kenobi is old now and i wont be updating it

the group name is correct in the topbox, i have cancelled my passport membership and register again, but it still gives the same error

is the passport a hotmail or a msn.com email ?

the version of vincula shouldnt matter , but i have noticed if you are lagging a lot then some times the user role fails

i don't know but i don't think i'm really lagging cause i have a fast connexion and i also tested it without running anything else

well if it works in one script and not the other , then something is wrong with one of them

Maybe its something else in one of them that is clashing with the grabber

i only have one script mIRC 6.16 with vincula 4.9 and it still gives the same error

Well looks like MSN is screwing Us again...

I use several bots including the latest versions of MiRC, Hybrid Omega and also the latest Dark Samurai - in addition to which I also have the old and latest passport grabbers.

None of these work anymore to to do automatic updates... and I have had to resort to doing manual updates.. Why?? I heard on the grapevine is cos MSN is trying to prevent the Yahell experience ~ somehow I think it is more likely to be a $$ grab somwehere soon.

Me Im mad as hell as I have paid for multiple upgraded MSN accounts to enable Me and My bots to be in My Comms MSN Chat Room and now I lose an hour of My life each day just getting them online..... We have a word for these kind of people in Oztralia and yes - it does begin with a Huge "F"

It is is a pain in the ass as it requires logging in and logging out on ur different msn accounts so u can be in the same room as ur bot - but it works - PROVIDED MSN is being helpful with the server "Render.chat" functioning properly.

the tg007 auto grabber works fine for me. i haven't had to do any manual enteries

Here too, I dont why so many people are having troubles with it.

well there is a small problem with it

if your on dialup sometimes the code is too fast and it wont get the cookies , but we are working on fixing that and we are going to add the grabber to an edited version of vincula , so you only have to swap it
