Hi, i was wondering if someone could show me how to make a good sockread onjoin kick for my hash banlist, i can make a simple onjoin kick that goe's in remote's but i wanted one that goe's in the JOIN bit in my connection, thank's in advance.
sure..
if ($2 == JOIN) { if ($ulist($gettok($1,2,33),banlist,1)) && (%banlist == on) { sockwrite -n $sockname kick $right($4,-1) $right($gettok($1,1,33),-1) :hi
add your own deny stuff lol.
on ^deny:JOIN:#:{
sockwrite -tn msn.server. $+ $cid kick $msn.get($cid,fullroom) $nick :Banned person Logged As $+ $gettok($ulist($address($nick,1)).info,1,32) Reason: $+ $gettok($ulist($address($nick,1)).info,3-,32) $+ $crlf $+ access $msn.get($cid,fullroom) add deny $address($nick,1) 300 : DenyListed. }
Thats just a normal mirc onjoin kick with a few sockwrites added i think he meant for his own connection or sommat.
actually thank's for trying but you both got it wrong, what i was after was a sockread kick to put in my connection for hash tables($hget) the one's u have pasted are both for userlist($ulist).
well if you showed the hash tables then ppl would know what to make the code
My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.
I see lol. Well make your god damn own! i use userrlist sockread
i add the information like
.hadd Banlist *!* $+ $ial($$1).addr $$1 $$?="Reason:"
that help ?
I dunno anything about hash banlists ive seen them for download on sites like elite-scriptas but i dunno if i can give ya the link to it here, pm me and ill send you the link, maybe you can d/l a hash banlist from there and take a look at how it works
Maybe you can incorporate this into your connection. Should do what you are asking.
on *:join:#:{
if (*!* $+ $ial($$1).addr isin $hget(Banlist)) {
.sockwrite -tn msn.server. $+ $cid access $active add deny $address (time limit) :Banlist $lf kick $active $nick :Banlisted
}
}

hi, thanks Mail and everyone else. i cracked it late last night lol, just incase anyone wanted to know it's
if ($hget(Banlist,*!* $+ $gettok($1,2,33))) {
sockwrite -n $sockname access $right($4,-1) clear owner $chr(10) access $right($4,-1) clear host $chr(10) access $right($4,-1) clear voice
sockwrite -n $sockname access $right($4,-1) add deny $gettok($1,2,33)
sockwrite -n $sockname kick $right($4,-1) $right($gettok($1,1,33),-1) :HasH'D
}
I made a different addon for adding to an auto kick list by a dialog. Its in the addon section. It also uses hash tables.

Not really that different from what i said lol..
There is a big difference between Hash Tables and Userlists. For one Hash Tables are quicker than Userlists. Hash Tables store information in your computers memory not a userlist. Just clarifying the differences.
$hget(name/N)
Returns name of a hash table if it exists, or returns the name of the Nth hash table.
$ulist(nick!userid@address,L,N)
Returns the Nth address in the Users list that matches the specified address and level.
