Changing to mIRC 6.16

Hey guys,

I was wondering if somone can tell me what is the best way to change my script from mIRC 6.01 to 6.16 ..

I 've tried to do that with installing it in my script folder and I did run the script from the new mIRC.exe...

but I faced some problems like adding access owner in the room ..*!*@ owner

so can anyone tell me in steps what to do to change my old mIRC version without causing any troubls to my codes ?!

all i did was replace the exe and it worked fine

I didn't replace I just put the exe in the same folder and used it

and after a time maybe hours it suddenly adds owner access for all in the room tested it 3 times when I roll back to my old exe everything works fine

replace all $address($me,1) or any type of this like $address($me,6) or or or ....................... to $$ial($me).addr

Whats the use of changing that Dream ?

will that prevent adding owner access *!*@ ??
