I've submitted Vincula NGen 1.5 to Techgear. So, hopefully it will be up soon.

This is an update to Vincula NGen. Alot has been added to this update. I fixed the problem it was having of joining, and getting userrole from certain groups rooms. I took out the old Vincula FAF, and added cOld Stalk3r v.2 which works alot better. I also added a security tab to the main dialog as well. Also fixed it to where it won't show controls on groups server, such as password change, and such.

have u submitted it on xtcomputing ?

Yes, it's on there now.

ok, i have just dl it and after adding my passport and password

i closed and reopenned my script

then i got that :

[01:00:02] * UD1/Ownerkey: 1794480

[01:00:02] * Current Passport: junior

[01:00:06] * Passport info for "junior" is now updated (5.749 seconds)

-

* /sockwrite: 'msn.begin.g0' not connected (line 1123, vincula.mrc)

-

* /sockwrite: 'msn.begin.n0' not connected (line 1123, vincula.mrc)

I get that, too. I don't know the reason for it. However, it should still work. I find it doesn't happen all the time. Just some times it does.

well fix it warrior tyut tut

Spam Honeypot - http://www.haggistech.co.uk/honey(humans do not register)

since i installed it, it still gives this same error every time i open my script

Try deleting the vpassport.dat, and try, again. I just ran a new script. It gave that error when I first started it up, but after I restarted it hasn't been giving that error, now.

i have just tried same thing as u did

with a new script and tried also after deleting vpassport.data, it gives same error again

Hmm, thats weird. Did you let it continue to update your passport? Just click the "ok" buttons, wait about 10 seconds, then exit out. It might be that the passports haven't had time to update. Other than that I have no idea what it is. My new script is working perfectly.

that's what i have when i run a new script :

* UD1/Ownerkey: 1794480

* Current Passport: alias

* Passport info for "alias" is now updated (1.733 seconds)

-

* /sockwrite: 'msn.begin.g0' not connected (line 1123, vincula.mrc)

-

* /sockwrite: 'msn.begin.n0' not connected (line 1123, vincula.mrc)

-

okay, I just checked line 1123. It has something to do with msn messenger, or something. Just take out that alias, and see if it works.

i deleted line 1123 which is :

sockwrite -n $1 VER 0 MSNP8 CVRO

then when i run it, i got this and nothing more :

* UD1/Ownerkey: 1794480

* Current Passport: alias

I just now took that alias out, and tested it. Apparently it needs that alias, lol. Are you running any firewall, or anything that might prevent the connection from starting? I've tried everything I can think of to reproduce the error, but the only thing that does it for me is when I start a new script, and add everything fresh. It gives me that error, but after my passport is updated, and I restart everything goes terrific for me.

I guess its best to wait until Ozzy and Error release the vincula they are fixing.

i have also tested all things u said but still gives same error even with a new "virgin" script

Alias, try deleting your old Vincula folder, and extract the new Vincula folder to your script, and see if that will work if you haven't done so already.

as i just said, i tried with an empty script, only mirc 6.16 + vincula NGen v1.5

but same error always

If anyone else is having the same problem as Alias is after updating your passport, please reply here about it. I'm trying to figure out what is happening, and hopefully find a solution for it.

P.S.: If it is working for you, please post that it is as well. The more info I have the better. Thanks.
