Vincula NGen v2.5.2

Vincula NGen2.5.2 has been released. This Vincula connects without the need ofr the msnchatx.ocx. Special thanks to The Gate Keeper for helping me to make it ocxless. Without his help I'd probably still be trying to figure it out, lol. Vincula NGen 2.5.2 should be available soon on the Techgear website.

Ozzy_10, I sent you a reply. It is very strange it isn't working for you. Me, and The Gate Keeper tested this out last night, and it worked perfectly for the both of us, lol. If anyone would like to beta test this Vincula, please let me know. The more info I can collect on it the better.

Hmm, I just now tried, but I'm getting no connection at all now. I even just now tried with an old script with msnchatx.ocx, and I'm getting no connection. So, it isn't the script. It looks like msn has done something again. Ozzy_10, have you tried with any of your other scripts to see if you can connect to msnchat?

Weird stuff Warrior, try a regular vincula. Mine works.

I just now tried a regular vincula, and ClearMSN54, and NuClearMSN. None of them are working for me even with msnchatx.ocx. :S

P.S.: I just now tried to sign into messenger as well, but even messenger isn't signing in right now.

I just signed like two minutes ago. Warrior can you send me Vincula NGen v2.5.2 and see if works for me, ty.

I was just now able to sign into messenger now, and Vincula NGen 2.5.2 is working again. Molson, can you add me to your im? I will pm you the email address

Well lots of problem with this vincula , for intance you cant change modes in channel editor, the nicklist options dont show up, only the view profile and the other two. You cant go back to a normal vincula you have do a connection fix on it to make work. I think I'll stay with a regular vincula.

The Gate Keeper, and I tested the last version last night, and it worked perfectly for the both of us. I am guessing it isn't the Vincula, but msn. Right now it is working perfectly for me. I just now tried it out, and I'm able to connect, see everything in the nicklist, etc. How long ago was it when you tried it out?

What I'll do is wait until tomorrow sometime and try if see anything changed if not I'll just use an regular vincula.

all my other scripts connect fine

but ngen is saying my passport details are wrong

but there not

i tried 3 passports this morning and still nothing yet my other scripts work fine

all my other scripts are connecting just fine and i even tried nuclear and that connects too

so it has to be ngen thats causing the problems

i am getting this on start

and my details are correct cause i copied and pasted them into another script and it works fine

its not getting any cookies at all , or the groups

and most of the time it wont get the lookups except when i try get cookie and it resets them

ok debuged the code and this is part of output

first one is cause its not logging in first, cause i had same prob

cause i dont have a default passport on windows and i bet the people who it does work for have a default one that windows signs into

when i try to join a room

in my opinion, this is probably a really buggie vincula, like i have worked on it, but to me, i would really throw it down the tube and forget about it. NuClearMSN is good enough in my book [even though i made my own connection for GD5, if i didn't, i would have used NuClear]

Lol i recon i could fix it but i dont use vincula anyway i have my own conn too

i wouldnt throw it out because its a learning process and warrior has worked very hard on it i dont do coding anymore but i dont know that from all the bugs and problems there is a very good chance to learn if everything worked the first time we have done something then no one would learn nothing so keep up the good work warrior i know u will get it working just take ur time theres no rush

Thanks, Sorcerer. I won't give up on it. This isn't my connection. However, there are many people out there that wants to use Vincula. DogCollar, ClearMSN, and Nuclear are three of the best connections I've seen, and I'm hoping to see Vincula up there again. Hopefully one of these days I will be able to make my own connection script. So, this is a good learning process for me.
