scripts not connecting--help

Luke are you trying to join msn paid rooms?

Cause you need a paid account if you are and that account must be the one you put in your script

Check your Mirc options and make sure your settings are properly set, like your nick and all that good stuff. and make sure your port settings and all are correct.

Your problems may very well be in the Mirc options.

Ozzy I been getting this error past few days now * /writeini: insufficient parameters (line 284, tgcookies.mrc) dont know why though I have reloaded again and same thing only getting it for the comms works fine on sub and yes hotmail id

have you got the file vpassport.dat in the vincula folder

cause that line writes to the vpassport.dat file

yup i do ozzy,and cked my firewall also and mIRC has full excess.so it`s not blocking it so i dunno,iam still getting this with vincula..... /sockwrite: 'sub(myaddy)[email protected]' not connected (line 4274, vincula.mrc).......the other i get this......../sockwrite: 'xstage2' not connected (line 33, kozzydate)??

well that error means ya not connected to the servers

hmmmmm i really don`t understand........everything was workin fine about a week ago..any suggestions?......with my secondary accounts i can open rooms etc,but when itry to use them in my scripts i get what u saw....clueless

2. Re-install windows (do not format, or use reformat option or you will loose your files), do all the updates Windows Updates, This is last resorce, But will work 100%, (providing there is nothing wrong with your hardware)

check to be sure all DLL's are where they are suppose to be . I've had a few people come asking for help only to find out thier DLL files were missing. somehow they got deleted.....either by anti-spyware or antivirus software.

its a shot in the dark but may be the cause of your problems. vincula needs nhtmln2.92.dll, msnchatx.dll,and the registry.dll to be where it can find them. loss of any of the three will cause connection problems . hope it helps .
