well here is the problem-----corrupt settings in accounts....had to delete all accounts and add them all back as they was,i belive eaglenest told me that not sure,cos of so many replys,,,,,,,,,,but thanks to all of the staff and members of TechGear......for all of your help i really appreciated it (how corrupt settings got in accounts i have no clue......but they ain`t now

maybe your chat control is messed up happens with milti accounts-will stop u from getting right sub-information. Delete your chat control. Join a room normal to update your chat control. Then try your mirc update- works for me
