New flood now un-speced wonder why I am getting hit with it...

Any suggestions as this flood disconnects every one in the room and when ever room is getting busy is when I am getting hit... Script just moofs out. I have away flood, Ping flood and PP flood protect enabled with deny on all Gates for 1 min but the flooder is un-speced so pings every one

The Code GateKeeper gave doesnt work and we already use a similar protection edited from Master Kenobi that sets deny on all passports for a certain period but the new flooder beats the script as it moofs out.. And as for using +i isnt recommended if your script is going to flood out better way is deny..

And dippit bro Yes & No its on the testing stage but the new ignore flood only disconnects the chatters dont know what it is as yet....

give me a shout when its going on again , i will come see what kind of flood they are doing

the kind of flood is wen they join the keep using a notice to whisper everyone in the room really fast and it dc everyone! i have had this before!

Thanks Ozzy when this happens there in the room for about 5min maximum and then there gone as the room is emptied by then and it mostly happens when I am a sleep UK time...

dont see how they could disconnect usin notice, i still think its some kind of ping or time flood

Seph it may be just that as I tested the Time and Ping with another script and my script wasnt picking it up as *!*@ in address blocks it all together from working I have taken that out and lets see what happens when it happens again

Okay this new flood is now used as they join 2 or 3 nicks at a time some times in total they have about 7nicks in the room and they are mass Ping and Time flooding the chatters if they do it to script they get kicked for time check or Ping so is there away to counter this without having to use a sleeper script?

i've had the same type of floods lately ......they seem to ping or time flood everyone but hosts ........so if your script/bot is hosted it doesnt get flooded out or even know anything is happening . a sleeper will catch them on a time check or ping kick .

its fast enough to dc normal chatters and every once in awhile will catch a hosted script and get kicked (but not often) .

hmmmmm i ve had a few flood attacks,but my script always kicks their azz,no problems here

Luke your script may be picking up every thing but you may not be getting the attacks others have encountered as they dont ping or time check the Op's and if they are time & pinging the chatters there is nothing your beast of a script can do to stop it as it DOES NOT PICK IT UP....
