Say for instance i had a full script with Vincula as the connection, then i unloaded Vincula & loaded Nuclear into it, Will all the coding still work properly?

I may be a noob but I tried loading nuclear msn into a few scripts such as GD and Hybrid and a few others....NO GOOD boss. Alot of the features did not work correctly, or at all. So I use nuclear with a fresh irc (no bells or whistles) and TG's vinc with Hybrid. GD I left alone cause that puppy is sweet all by itself. Hope that helps.

nuclear is designed to support the most common Vincula commands and identifiers so people familiar with vincula can more easily write scripts for nuclear. but most scripts that have already been released with vincula feature an edited version of vincula, so there will be things missing if you replace it with nuclear. nuclear also handles things differently than vincula so some things just don't work the same, even if the original vincula wasn't edited.

Lemme start with Vex, your connection is awesome! I love the decoded nick list. Just a couple of things right off the top of my head. The dynamic limit feature in all of my scripts wont work with nuc. Not a big deal really I run multiple scripts at any given time for the same room. The other thing is everytime I re-boot a script with nuc the settings reset, ex. the scrpt kicker turns off. Other then that I have yet to run into another problem. Gr8 job boss!!!

I had to recode a few things, for some reason nuclear just doesnt like some bits of coding. but there is usualy some way around it.

On the whole id say around 85% of the codes worked fine.

Wonder why there not a converter for the scripts, Like they have for other programs. If they changed the commands, And the code's, Like making basic to c+ ect... to comply with new codes in new mirc?

That would be a great idea Eagle. I wish Vex would edit Nuclear to work with all Vincula codes.

it is a good idea, but because scripts can be very very broad, a converter would be near impossible to make.
