For some reason here lately i have been getting .DLL errors while running mIRC. The 1st error to occur was Kernell32.DLL, it would give that error during the middle of the passport update. Got rid of the Kernell error then starting getting an MSACM32.DLL. The MSACM32.DLL comes after i update my passport and all, passport updates fine. But right when i hit the join room that MSACM32.DLL pops up. It shows the room i'm trying to join and my gatekeeper then thats all i get. I can connect sometimes but it gives that error quite alot. Any help or ideas on this will be a great help, as i have never had that MSACM32.DLL in the past 5 years i have been running mIRC. Thats the 1st time i have ever seen it.

when was last time you did a format ?

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

I haven't done a format, but i have changed a few settings and all but as far as i remember i dont think i changed anything to cause that, (hope not anyway). Can ya give me an idea what that file is and what it is for.

When was last time you updated your virus protection and ran it?

If you have then Maybe your fragmentation is so bad, it's loosing the tag identifier and may have to reinstall everything like Ozzy said

msacm32 - msacm32.dll - DLL Information

DLL File: msacm32 or msacm32.dll

DLL Name: Microsoft ACM Audio Filter

Description:

msacm32.dll is a module containing functions for audio compression for 32-bit applications.

If that's all ya need I can send ya a copy of the file

I have done all my updates and my virus protection is up to date and works fine and all, but just started getting that error about 3 hr's ago. mIRC was running as good as ever (after i changed the settings) for the past few hr's then that happens.

have you tried a new mirc exe ?

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

Nope, but i will try that Ozzy. I run mIRC 6.03 i'll change it to 6.16 and see if thats the problem. Thanks for the Info.
