TG's Vincula

Ozzy, TGK, anyone help. I cant seem to get my script into the long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rooms with TG's vincula.

I tried a long room name and it works fine

OZZY i was just wandering why you & errOr didnt make that Vincula TG with a built in updater rather than having the Cookie grabber addon to make it work. Just wandering thats all, as i have seen alot of new Vincula connections that dont need an addon like the TG Cookie Grabber to make it update, or did you & errOr make it that way for a certain reason? I am not complaining about you & error's work or the way you 2 have made it, as it is a great connection and addon.

we did it , cause if msn updates again we only have to remake the grabber

as it seams thats what they break the most, plus we wanted to do as little editing to vincula as possible.

Those dern MSN re-sets are killing me...I tried the HYBRID auto-re-create tool, followed the instructions, edited as needed. But nada. Any ideas what I am doing wrong and how to fix it?

No probs getting my scripts in the longggggggggggggg rooms here. yea i hope msn takes a chill pill for awhile,leaves things ALONE!

hmmmmmmm, its gotta be something I am doing wrong then, cause when I click on some of them I enter the room through my bot in webchat. Here is an example of one of the rooms: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Test Room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that room I get in just fine. But when there are a few more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, The webchat window kicks in.

Hi sorry but i must be also doing something incorrect as when i try to join a long roomname it says "room found joining" but wont join and then says in the status window /sockwrite: line too long (line 1680, vincula.mrc) and help would be much appriciated.

Does the same for me.

After looking at it I found if you delete line 1680 in the vincula.mrc it works a treat even on the longest roomnames

Sure its line 1778.

Ok I have sorted it line 1680 was in one version of vincula and 1778 in the 4.9 modded, replace line 1778 with this and you should be able to join any long name room(I found the longest one i could and it worked with no problems.

and remove the 'else' in line 1776
