Please feel free to post your ircx screen shots here.

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

Well i thought il be the first one to post here is my screenshot

Video Adapter: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics (512 MB)

3D Accelerator: ATI Radeon HD 3200 (RS780)

Your better off to have a friend than to be all alone.. If you fail, Your friend can help you up.

The DCC count in the left hand menu is pointless in a CUSA script because DCC's are disabled.

I don't understand the online / offline list in your bottom left hand corner. It seems to have selected very few online nicknames? How are those lists generated?

Apart from that, it looks good - nice & simple and easy to read.

The bottom left hand dialog is a Notify list. It's coming along nicley, morph. I Don't know why everyone feels the need to list uptimes & nicknames on titlebars etc, though lol

I'd probably align the nicklist dialog a little more too. Look forward to seeing more

PS - Personally speaking, I'd lose the ascii from the << MENU >> bit, sorry :$

Get the Tech outta here!

Thanks Guys well the swicth bar wasnt made by me i was givn it from a good mate and it was only partly done so i have to fiddle with it. Steve the Notify list you have to add people to it. I will notify you the person has connected to the server before they join the room. Pretty nifty aye

err notify list shouldnt work to notify you when they join the server unless ya staff on cusa(least thats what i think happens) so it would only notify if they joined a room your in

The list at top left looks like it has the dcc cause its something you downloaded and just added to your script, cause dcc is blocked on cusa.

The bar at the top ia way too deep and the stuff on it could be put end to end to make it thinner.

i believe the command ISON is used here. IRC clients like mIRC use the ISON command for notifys. Any user can do this, theres no need to be an IRCop. So any IRCx server (IRCd also not sure) have this command and is useable by all users.

Glad your finding good use for it Morph

Also, Ozzy i followed a tutorial to make the switchbar and added other stuff like Windows etc, and it wasn't made for CUSA.

Edit: mIRC sends the ISON command when you first connect, if a user is online the server sends back the nicks online using the raw 303.

The very young do not always do as they are told

well i saw when i joined the room and the message came AFTER i joined the room , not before

That would depend on the server load, your lag, or how fast the user joins the room, but usually you receive the message before they join.

I actually thought notify works on RAW 600 etc. Example:

RAW 600:*: {
 splay notice.wav
 set %cop $2
 if (%turbs == on) { $charm }
 if (%noodles == on) { $notlist }
 echo $color(KICK) $active 14 $+ $asctime(hh:nn:ss) $+  $str($chr(160),10) $chr(149) $2 is now online.
 haltdef
}
RAW 601:*: {
 splay notice.wav
 echo $color(KICK) $active 14 $+ $asctime(hh:nn:ss) $+  $str($chr(160),10) $chr(149) $2 logged off on $asctime $+ .
 haltdef
}
RAW 604:*:{
 echo $color(CTCP) $active 14 $+ $asctime(hh:nn:ss) $+  $str($chr(160),10) $chr(149) $2 is online or present.
 haltdef
}
RAW 605:*:{
 echo -s 14 $+ $asctime(hh:nn:ss) $+  $str($chr(160),10) $chr(149) $2 is not online or present.
 haltdef
}

I have both morph & Oz in my notify list and know in advance when Morph is about to enter the room

Get the Tech outta here!

Just tested then with out joining the room and it showed me connecting / Disconnecting

Happy_Git ~Grumpy_Git vgxyncpdpuhw 0 logged online or present

0=====2» 1Happy_git 1 is now online

0=====2» 1Happy_git 1 is now online

i got that cause i d/c twice

Vegeta u stalker jokes:P

Well i could be wrong but ignitionServer sends raw 300 by using the ISON command. Not sure if its 300 for all IRCx servers though.

Simple way to test would be to add someone to your notify list then run /debug @raw in your mIRC then check to see what raws are working when ppl on your list join the server.

My above example is directly from my crappy theme and works great on cusa.

Dunno, try and try again lol

You're both right. mIRC waits for the raw 005 numeric (usually this numeric tells you what the server supports) before determining how to make the notify list work, if mIRC is told the server supports the WATCH command it will use that, then the server will automatically tell you when someone gets online.

Otherwise, mIRC will send the ISON command on a timer.

This is my current project:

It's not going to be released as the sidebar was not made by me. "Modules" is the addon manager and "Tools" is a list of various commands (eg: user lists, DCCs, etc).
