for all those having problems getting in group rooms, there is a problem with msn.

When you try join it thinks the room isnt made and trys to make another room with the same name.

This is why you get the room create or your in the room on your own.

Msn is aware of the problem.

My code does NOT have bugs. It just develops random features.

Yes my group has this problem and its effecting the amount of chatters we get,we seemed to have droped by 50% in chatters couse they enter the group chat, see they are alone and leave,i sent memos out to all members but most dont seem to get them or blocked group messages,i wrote msn anout this and yesterday they replied, they told me to delete my cookies and temp files,i wrote back in detail, its not my comp its msn glitch, and happens to all my group members not just me,when you enter group chat, you end up in a chat room alone till you fit refresh a few times then you get in the right room i said, they wrote back a 2nd time this time saying, what kind of net conection do you have and whats your prosessor speed.i think they dont want to admit the prob is on their end,i just hope this is fixed soon it started about 3 days ago and its really annoying.

This is the reply i got, so everyone email msn if you are having the same problem

Thank you for contacting MSN Groups.

I understand you are having difficulty in entering Group chat room and I

apologize for any inconvenience this may caused.

Your concern is caused by a lot of factors. As such, solutions vary. I have here

the most commonly known solutions for your reference.

First, it must be because certain sites you are visiting are read from the

computer’s cache instead of directly from the sites’ servers. I suggest you

clear your cache then delete cookies to maintain your browser’s performance.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please do the steps I detailed below to

resolve your concern. Should you be using other Internet browser, please contact

the browser’s manufacturer to get details on how to clear cache and delete

cookies.

1. Launch Internet Explorer.

2. Click “Tools (If you are using I.E. 5 or higher) or click “View (If

you are using I.E. 4).

3. Click “Internet Options. “Internet Options box appears.

4. Go to “General tab.

5. Click “Delete Cookies. A “Delete Cookies box appears.

6. Click “Ok to confirm deletion.

7. Click “Delete Files. A “Delete Files box appears.

8. Put a check mark on the box beside “Delete all offline content.

9. Click “Ok to confirm deletion.

10. Click “Settings.

11. Check either "Every visit to the page" or "Every time you start Internet

Explorer".

12. Click “Ok.

13. Click “Ok to close the “Internet Options box.

Second known solution is to remove and to reinstall the MSN Chat Control

software. To remove the software, please:

1. Launch Internet Explorer.

2. Click "Tools".

3. Click "Internet Options".

4. Click "General" tab.

5. Click "Settings".

6. Click "View Objects".

7. Go to the "Downloaded Program Files" window.

8. Right click and delete the “MSN Chat Control".

9. Click “Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.

10. Click "OK" to end.

11. Click “OK again to save changes.

12. Sign in to MSN Groups using .NET Passport registered log in ID and password.

of my group and other groups,i went to other groups to see if they have the

same problem and they do.it started the night before last, when u enter the

group chat area you end up in a chat room alone, all the members of the

groups are havin this prob.then they have to leave and come back a few times

till they are in the right room.sometimes i leave my group chat and come

back and end up in this room where a few people are and i have to tell them

to refresh a few times so they can get to the correct room, its a glitch on

its a fault on msns side, nothing to do with your comp

it happeneds straight after a server reset, which normally means msn changed something server side

You can't cache non-HTTP connections... There's no real logical reason to (I mean, you could, but something like IRC or something.. you can't)
