how can i make the script kick him with message telling him how much he used that letter of (i) or any letter else

well you can find out how many times he used i with $count(<string>,i)

Petertje come up with a good snipplet which can kick for people that do excessive letters like that on rumbaar's forum.

sorry i couldnot get it

on @*:TEXT:*:#: flcheck $1-
on @*:ACTION:*:#: flcheck $1-
alias -l flcheck {
 if (($nick isop $chan) || ($nick !ison $chan)) return
 if ($str(ظ‡,20) isin $1-) tfkick $nick
 elseif ($str(طµ,20) isin $1-) tfkick $nick
 elseif ($str(ط³,20) isin $1-) tfkick $nick
 var %l = $len($1-), %i = 1, %rep
 while (%i < %l) {
   if ($mid($1-,%i,1) == $mid($1-,$calc(%i + 1),1)) {
     inc %rep
     if (%rep >= 60) { tfkick $nick | return }
   }
   else %rep = 0
   inc %i
 }
}
alias tfkick { sockwrite -n msn.server. $+ $cid access $hget(msn. $+ $cid,fullroom) add deny $address 1 :TEXT FLOOD $crlf kick $hget(msn. $+ $cid,fullroom) $1 :No Flooding Please(1 minute banned) u used '' $count($1-,x) '' of %rep }

pretty simple

Thnx all for suggestions but i hope if there is any one help me in the first code

I tried to create a suitable snippet using regex.

A: $regex(%a,/[a-z]{13}/gi)

B: $regex(%a,/[a-z]{5,}/gi)

The top code (A ) works but only if there are 13 occurances of a letter. The bottom code (B ) is what should have been the correct snippet (at least 5 or more of the same letter) but for some reason mIRC wont accept the comma as part of the regular expression.

Your code tests if 5 characters are there, but they dont have to be the same.

This code will be true if there are 4 or more repeats (so 5 or more total) of the same character.

$regex(a%,/([a-z])\1{4 $+ $chr(44) $+ }/gi)

just another Question how can i use this

$regex(a%,/([a-z])\1{4 $+ $chr(44) $+ }/gi)

where i have to put it or how its working i tried to put it in the kick message but it appeared 0

I didn't realise you could use $chr(44) in regex codes. Live and learn...

on *:text:*:#:{
 if ($nick !isop $chan) && ($regex(a%,/([a-z])\1{4 $+ $chr(44) $+ }/gi) >= 1) { kick # $nick Excessive use of characters }
}

That's just an example; modify it how you like.

on $*:text:/([a-z])\1{14,}/gi:#:{
if ($nick !isop $chan) { kick # $nick Excessive use of characters (15 or more) }
}

Note: only works on later mIRC versions (not sure on which, but on 6.03 it doesn't work).
