Hello,
I need a code which display a message at a specific time, e.g. at 12:00 PM its say good noon, and at 05:00 PM it say good evening etc.
thanx.
/timer1 17:05 1 1 /say Timer test 1
/timer2 17:06 1 1 /say Timer test 2
/timer1 17:07 1 1 /say Timer test 3
I am dump, I wrote this code but its doing nothing. help me plz.
I tried this one but not working
/timer1 18:00 1 1 /msg $chan Timer test 1
/timer2 19:00 1 1 /msg $chan Timer test 2
/timer3 20:00 1 1 /msg $chan Timer test 3
you do know that it waits till 7pm to message? and you can't use $chan cause the % will stuff it up. Try this.
/timer1 18:00 1 1 /msg $!chr(37) $!+ $right($chan,-1) Timer test 1 /timer2 19:00 1 1 /msg $!chr(37) $!+ $right($chan,-1) Timer test 2 /timer3 20:00 1 1 /msg $!chr(37) $!+ $right($chan,-1) Timer test 3

Haggis it didnt show this message in main chat but in status window of my bot it showed the following. by the way I use Kenobi script.
[20:34:01] -> *%Timer* test 1
-
* Timer 1 halted
try this instead
on *:START: {
timer1 18:43 1 1 msg $!chan(1) Timer test 1
timer2 18:45 1 1 msg $!chan(1) Timer test 2
timer3 20:00 1 1 msg $!chan(1) Timer test 3
}
"the important thing was, that i had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time"
I tried all the above codes nothing happened, but when I type /timer it show me the following:
* Active timers:
* Timer 1 19:26 1 time(s) 1s delay /msg $chan(1) Timer test 1 (MSN)
* Timer 2 18:45 1 time(s) 1s delay /msg $chan(1) Timer test 2 (MSN)
* Timer 3 20:00 1 time(s) 1s delay /msg $chan(1) Timer test 3 (MSN)

Pulled from the mIRC help file:
/timer1 0 20 /ame is AWAY!
Timer1 will repeat an all channel action every 20 seconds until you stop the timer.
So this code "should" work for you:
on *:START: {
timer1 06:18 0 1 msg $!chan(1) S eTahoma;0 your message here
timer2 13:17 0 1 msg $!chan(1) S \nTahoma;0 your message here
timer3 13:19 0 1 msg $!chan(1) S Tahoma;0 your message here
}
Help this helps!
