Or you can do, different commands to what you want,
like this:
TEXTCHAN !script $+ %::c4 $chr(40) $+ 09 %::nick $+ %::c4 $+ $chr(41) $+ %::c2 %::text
If you change !script to @script, etc...
Then it will be @script to show the version info

i tried this..

didnt work
still shows up as @nick for mine and theirs. could it be a setting in mirc its self? or something along those lines?
im using KTE 1.5
