MSN Modes

Does anyone have insite on these MSN Modes? Meaning? Possible to change in user created rooms?

+d +e +f or +def

i think i didnt get the question correct, but with what u've typed, the only possible mode is +f (Profanity filter). and it must be set during CREATION

+d = Cloneable room. When a room fills up a 2nd room will open.

+e = cloned room, The room of the 1st set on +d

+f = As X system said, Profanity filter.

modes d & E CANNOT be set by normal users. Only staff example, guides and sysops can set these modes

I have tryied typing through my script

/mode %#g_myroomname +w

as well as

/mode %#g_myroommname +W

but people still able to whisper to my

I also have tryied

/mode %#g_myroomname +u

and I don't get the messages when someone can't get in the room

/mode %#g_myroomname -t

and I couldn't set the topic after I dehosted myself just to tryied

what am I doing wrong ??

with +w and +W on , if your hosted people can whisper you and you can whisper them , but when you dehost you cant whisper anyone

+u is for knocks , get my knock addon from techgear in addons section, this will show you the knocks

you cant use webchat to set topic in groups, msn changed it and i think they did something with the -t too

speaking of Canada rooms MucH was saying that the MSN Bots check your version now is that true?

not from what i know. If they do, i havent seen any checks run when i go in and i havent seen anyone kicked out as soon as they join - unless i missed them all lol

the bots don't check your version, otherwise ctcp would show. its possible though that they run a whois on the person because that doesn't appear up on your nick so yea.

No, staff only checks your version if you seem suspicious. Other then that they leave you alone. Do you think they would

I doubt they would ban, not unless your doing something that requires a Ban or have a Guide / Sysop thats had a bad day lol
