i need help connecting kenobi i have followed all advise on here but when i go cookie grabber it wont let me add the name of my group like the help shows.. why does anyone know how i can do this as it wont connect untill i do..

It doesnt allow you cause it gets the groups on its own go here and get the help file

hi and thank for the help i now have a new prob whenever my members now come in group chat they auto gets specs and i have to take them of.. but i have tried to turn the specs thing of and it wont they are still getting specs

Check that specs are off in Modes ( + on/ off - ) which is in the main dialog

I went through the help file step by step. Where it says to click in the Groups box and on the tutorial it comes up with Techgear007, mine won't come up with anything when I click in the box. In the Gatekeepers window I get "Error: Group list failed." I can't get it to go to anything except the main categories of the paid MSN chat rooms, but I am trying to use it in a group. There's no option to type the group name in (that I can find). What am I missing?

It is. I also tried the tutorial on getting the userrole, but although I got the popup to work okay, I still couldn't get in. I made that passport a manager of the group (if it works okay as an assistant manager I'd rather have that, though). I went into the group chat room in IE under another passport (so that the group was open already, like when I connect Viper), and that didn't help either.

I just found the vinculatg help file and will try that next.

As I said, I followed your tutorial extremely carefully. There's something missing, however. In the passport update section of the tutorial, after I click to open the Techgear007 Passport Update Dialog v.2.0, the tutorial says to select the Techgear007NET item and the mouse clicks in the Groups box (which appears blank at first). When the mouse clicks in that box (on the tutorial), Techgear007NET appears in the box. When I click in the Groups box myself, nothing appears in that box, and I get the "Error: Group list failed" message in the Gatekeepers window.

Is there supposed to be a step before this that will add Techgear007NET or is that the default item that is supposed to be built in? Because on the version I downloaded and installed, there's nothing coming up as a default.

when the box opens you have to wait till it shows the groups in it

then you click on the one you want to join and click update
