Meh, long time lurker, figured Id throw one out just for the hell of it since it's been a useless hobby of mine for a while now.

 

What it is: very basic (no locks/prots besides basic ctcp/raw flood prots) chat script, MSN Chat/Groups connectivity, YCHT connectivity for Yahoo Chat, Custom Nicklist Icons showing Owner/Op/Spec/Reg/Iggy/Tag, Emoticon System built on nHTMLn 2.95, very basic Web Browser, MP3 Player (both of which can be toggled to show/hide when not in use), XP Themes compatible, & Update button to update the MSN/Yahoo server addys. Kinda crude, but I havent done a whole lot with it recently. Hope the screeny URL works.

how comes the top one has emoticons & custom nicklist but the bottom one doesn't?

maybe his nicklist/emot system doesn't support multi chat or it has the option to turn it on or off?

Yeah, er, my total knowledge of mIRC scripting is probably equivelant to a 5 year olds (Lol), but anyways...

 

Quick answer is Ive just put a little more time into the MSN parts of it, and havent gotten around to adapting the custom nicklist stuff from IRC/MSN to IRC/MSN/Yahoo. Thats the least of my problems, though. Lol.

 

Thanks for the comments, though. Ive lurked here so long & I was so nervous to post anything. :embar:

New pic of Vincula Rage2. Again, the nicklist is regular mirc nicklist edited to show status, and this time it is also colored according to status as well.

they were made for tcn ircd server

i still don't think combinding all of what you made together is a good idea. I think making just the vincula dialog as it is with a small modification for the passport management and vincula based options is all you should do with Vincula. Then added features like your mp3 player should be kept completely seperate from the connection. This is because many people want to keep the features within their script seperate from other things. Especially features which are completely unrelated.

i am in uk and i can go in msn chat

you just need to get a paid hotmail account and go into msn chat through .ca instead of .com

This is nothing flashy, just something ive been tinkering with.

looks like a plain connection but it works with any irc client, plus you can access it from remote machines. so users could get into msn without downloading a specialized msn script by using this connection as a proxy :P probly would lag and ozzy will complain about how 'insecure' it is but o well lol
