viperbot in a created msn chat room

WHAT EXACTLY IS THAT THING AND HOW DO I GET MY BOT TO WORK ON A MSN CHAT ROOM THAT I CREATED? IT ALSO SHOWS THE VIPER BOT IN SPECTATOR MODE NOT AS A CHATTER. I DID PURCHASE MSN CHAT WHY WONT IT WORK?

Last time i talked with JJ, he was still working on it, but he's more focused on IRC than MSN. So yea, be expecting it to be more based on IRC than MSN.

Iam a true fan of Viper bot Hope jj comes out with his new updates soon .

Well iam hopping he also dose it for MSN cause quite a few ppl will love to see it again, i hear from many i dislike these scripts miss my ViperBot so it would be a shame if it didnt come out for MSN, I can also see his point with all the updates MSN dose it is time consumming!

Yeah, the last time I talked to JJ, he said it might be a little while, he doesnt know yet. I dont think hes giving a certain release date.

Yes viper will work on MSN you just have to do what i call a little tweaking and know the right people like Rowan, he's the one who taught me alot about viper. Back when MSN was free Viper had a faster and more stable revenge kick than scripts had, the viper i had setup would maintain control of the room against the scripts revenge kick response.

Yeah thats one thing I use to remember about the Viper was it could take a beaten and keep on talking ..... Bot Talk Well if you can still get it in MSN my hats off to you, Many people would luv to see that again......I think Viper would still knock flooders out, but then again thats one mans opinion

Cause last time I tryed Viper .. I couldnt get it to work for me and I didnt know about tg007 to fall back on for help and when I did find tg007 I downloaded and used hybrid and kenobi

Well the next release or update for Viper is gonna be strictly for IRC not for paid MSN chats as they do to much updating and IRC doesn't change as often as MSN. To maintain & keep Viper up to date for MSN would be a MAJOR headache for jj. To maintain and keep it up to date for IRC would be a breeze.

I loved viper too...actually I just downloaded it again, and i'm remembering

some things..but not all....i can't remember how to bring it in the msn chatroom..

I do get it in...and it comes in as a gold hammer..but it isn't in bot mode, also

does anyone know where i can copy and paste the responses etc, into the response

folder. Years ago there use to be a place where you can go to copy and paste it into

the folder, and as far as response, basically it was easy to add your own, by following

the commands that were pasted. Does anyone know the answer to the above?

As some have stated, Viper still works well, though I can't get the universal dll to work in either Groups or MSN Chat, I use the 1.5.0.0 dll which is fine for MSN main chat and the 1.1.0.0 dll for Groups which means I have to change them for Groups and MSN main chat respectively.

I too am a longtime user of Viperbot and can't wait for the new version to come out, You can't go wrong by going to Tech Gear and reading through all the stuff to do with Viper. Give it a try, go on.........

I ran Viper for a few years. Then all the crap with MSN created more friction then I wanted. Most browser based bots are going to need major overhauls sooner then later. It was too time consuming to get it to connect everytime in 'bot' mode. There are just too many nuences to deal with.

I gave up, dl'ed Kenobi, got used to it, then started work on my own mIRC.

I had some issues, and MSN's last duabacle had the effect of a tornado on me. I got Guard Dog, and have had no problems at all. Viper was/is a good bot, but it's just not the future. I like the fact that I can run a bot I named, created the theme for, and can customise to my likeing. I also like the freedom to have loaded only what I need for that particular time. How many of us using a bot for a group, really need to kick for disruption. Most people have the groups set for members only. Sub chat...another story I am not willing to get into....

In general, I think mIRC is the future for room security, and fun!

For those that like the Viper, I hope JJ creates the best bot he can for you at some point.

For me personally, I like learning, so I will continue to use mIRC.....At least as long at TG007 has great people that actually help.
