No away / here notices

Hiya All,

for some reason im not getting any notification of away/here in the room, the only indicator is the chatter in the list changes color.

When i change my away/here i get this message in the status window,

    > Error: KTE_ECHO invalid command

Any help is greatly appreciated,

go through GuarD-Doctor. I've put updates out to fix this. You should get the updates in the update section as well as the theme section.

ok i tried all that and restarted GD with no change to the error.

On a side issue i have downloaded the themes and i see them in the manager, when i go to view them i get the MTS loader 1.71 but nothing in the lists.

Did you check out Guard-Doctor? theres lots of updates and fixes that problem.

if your running GuarDDog with mIRC 6.16 (so GuarDDog v. 5.0) You will find that you will experience some errors. You should be running GuarDDog v . 5.0a. It uses mIRC 6.17 and the new MTSLoader. To download 5.0a, just redownload GuarDDog.

MTSLoader is not a removeable addon, it is just an update.

thanks for the replys, im running GD5a and ive tried to keep it up to date as i have just started using GD and still testing it our for myself. I love the updater.

The one thing i hadnt tried until today was the themes, i restarted GD5a and still had the error, but now after rebooting its worked, no more error and i see the away/here in the status windows.

what ya mean from status window to my room window? As in message to you?

If so, i've had requests for a remote command for this, which i am willing to put in, same with a few more remote commands like !gk and that.

Currently the only way i know if some has gone to away or returned is that their color changes in the chatter list of my room window, i personally would like to see the away/here notices in the room windows as i chat, currently they are posted in the status window, not the room window.

I hope that helps explain what i mean

use GuarD-Doctor, under themes, download Coat. It will override, from there, you need to goto MTSLoader, and load up the new MTS Theme. I will see what i can do to make it refresh itself.

i have a slight problem i hope you can help me with, 2 actually :S

The first is,

I go to download the new coat, i cant see it in "Get themes" because i already have it in "Manage themes", so i go into Manage Themes and i delete coat, now for me to see it in the Get Themes i need to shutdown GD Doctor and re-start it to refresh the data, and i can see coat in Get themes, but this time as it downloaded the process froze, and now i dont have coat in either list, is it possible its installed enough that GD Doc thinks its there but cant list it in Manage Themes?

The second is, i dont see anything in MTSLoader

I had received that problem before, it is fixed on my end, when the new GuarD-Doctor is released, it should be fixed then as well.

MTSLoader appears in commands > Open MTS Loader.

When you open that, you go file.. click add folder, find where you have GD5, then find where MTS folder is. click MTS theme folder and there you go, all set.

ok i loaded Coat and now the away/here is working, thanks.

Id like to change some of the colours, where can a find a colour/code chart, any suggestions appreciated?

It has schemes, so when you load it, you can select the different schemes. Otherwise, select default, then you change the color as normal. There are the other themes there that you could try out, some might suite your liking.

Yeah i had selected a scheme etc and ive tried default but stll have the same situation, there are colours like join part mode ,, that cant be changed as i think the colour is coded in Coat, even with default.

Im very happy with GD5 and now have it as my main connection, so i can see myself taking you up on that in the future but right now its not a priority for me, getting to know GD5 and what i can and cant do is the current task
