Just out of interest really...

When i join msn with a script and do a version check on my nick, i get this:

VERSION reply : mIRC v6.15 Khaled Mardam-Bey (nüclearmsn/6.1)

But if i join another irc server and do the same check i get this:

VERSION reply : mIRC v6.15 Khaled Mardam-Bey

What (and why?) is different?

Thanks :P

Well the different is i hope you may be using nuclear msn connection to join msn and nuclear version will get activated only if $network = msn so when you join any irc server it will not get activated.I hope this may be the simple difference ;) .

There is nothing so absurd but some philosopher has said it

Ah cheers.

So the script is configured to give a different version depending on whether its connected to msn or not.

Well all i can say is nuclear is configured like that :D .And

mIRC v6.15 Khaled Mardam-Bey
this is inbuilt version in mirc .

And if u dont like (nüclearmsn/6.1) in version just open the Nuclear command panel and click ctcp replies and enter your choice of version in it ;) .

Yep, different reply because of different connection.

Thanks :)
