GD5 Passport Updater Fixed (thanks to xnextx and JD)

EDIT : Latest DC version 1.3.x should now work with the new MSN system. Thanks to xnextx for the previous update, and JD for the current. All i had to do was include 2 dlls located from mIRCscripts.org, and change 2 lines of code. And it got the original updater back and working. So hopefully this solves a lot of problems for now.

i had done the update and it's not working. Can't join a Group room. Alias msnauths2 is missing.

yea, i'm aware, these problems are causing issues everywhere. Give it time, i've got 2 exams to studay for (10pm atm, and the exam is tomorrow), and an IT assignment due the day after, so i can't do anything for a bit.

Seems to me just about nuthing is working so far,ive tried this and that code etc,no revail,next updater and so on..... codes: msn<<<<<

err0r and i had a fix this morning and msn changed things again

then i had a go at my g/f's and i got it working and they changed something again

so at this time it seams we have to wait a day or so for them to stop changing stuff

updated the connection and now it won't connect at all...

It's what we all have been getting. We are working on it, and I thought I also had one earlier, untill MSN updated around 9:00 am EST. Who knows...MSN could keep doing periodic updates...

David you need to concentrate on getting Guard_Dog up & running and worry about those exam's later. I'm pretty sure your smart enough to pass those exam's without studying for them. (Just Kidding) Your exam's are more important. Guard_Dog can wait.

.... In a last ditched effort i decided to go with a new vanilla install of GD5 and now i get the following error and i dont see any updates at all.

I totally agree with everyone here, its really wasting everyones time to try keep up with this constant changing situation and GTK has much greater priorities, the best things are always worth waiting for

MSN is playin with their buttons again,they we get bored

until they fix it? hahaha u dont understand msn dont have a "problem" they didnt it on purpose to kill scripts y do u think changes happen twice in one day?

Not exactly. MSN has done this crap before with their server. Was fine after it all. So, no, they cant do it anyway beacuse if you think about it, the only way MSN could really detect scripts is through a ping or version reply par remote server.

Umm, GD5 Updated, but it won't let me update my sub info, Its coming up with a webaddress i "must visit" (Namely the Lobby) I have done that now about 15 times, and its still not working, any suggestions, and before anyone says it, i have deleted all my cookies, and deleted the ocx, then restarted...

i got in with the old Viper bot and it worked good but then when i tryed to sign in with my real addy i was a spektatior , now i am not a spectator and Vbot still signs in ok ,, but in the old Godzilla the addy it runs it dont have the groups thingy even tho is a manger of me group msn thingy but 2 days befor Gzilla worked fine ( old school )
