I downloaded the SSL files and when I tired to update, it asked me for my email and pass as I would expect it would and it put the info in the variables file in remote.

After doing so, I tried to enter the room and the script returned the error that it could not authenticate, so I wonder as I don't see any userole in the ini file, if this will work for groups also?

i'm still hesistant as to leave this on or not. For now it will stay, as i do not have time to look into it. My problem is the relability of the file users are downloading. err0r/ozzy will look into it over the next few hours, or i will in about 6 hours. So people, we still say, anything you use, you are using it at your own risk.

All these new updaters are just for paid chat.

when i get back from tafe i'll look into this updater, i'm sure it's clean and legit. I'll modify it for GD5 so that it will do everything as it use to, with the userrole retreivers and all that.

Modify it for groups to. Alotta people on here use groups...and from what Molson said, its jus for paid chat.

First off well done on the SSL fix.

A few things you should know about this grabber. it needs to be "loaded" into remotes.. not simply copied and pasted as it needs to go through the onload process.

Second. You should use the latest version of mIRC with this addon.

Third the exe file is safe, at least it is a true file available to the public.. If for some reason you don't trust it from JD's site ( which it direct links to the creator's site so it shouldn't be a matter of trust ) then you can download it by clicking HERE

You should download and install the Win32 OpenSSL v0.9.8a version.

Adding the userrole to it is very easy as well. I'll try to clean up the one I did with a dialog and put it up.

ok, with the help of Gatekeeper i have GD5 working, but i also need two other Vincula scripts (Dark Samurai and Sercencer). Can someone please explain for a novice scripter. I tried doing the render chat and tranfering cookies, no luck. i tried the SSL Update but i think i am doing that wrong. any ideas?

you can update your script manuel and copy / past the cookies and tiket and profile info

if you use mozilla you can find all the data you need down below in the source

you must join the room on your group with the email from your script the normal way ( with mozilla )

than you view the source

down below you can find the cookies and the ticket and profile info

open your script

go to venculla main menu and take pasport than click edit

there you can copy and paste the info you see in mozilla

than join the group normal with your script so he takes his userol

than cloase all wiondows

go out the room with mozilla and join again with your script

and your in the room

[step-A] : How To Get The User Role?!

1- Go To Your Group Chat Room, And Make Sure That You Signed In Using The Same Passport You Use In Your Script, When You Join The Room, Click A Right Click Beside The Group Name And Choose "View Source" (See The Picture)

2- When You Click On "View Source" A Notepad Will Open To You, Then Press F3 , The Find Window Will Open To You, Then Put The Group Name And Click On "Find Next" (See The Picture)

NOTE: The Group We Use Here Is Rumbaar = G_Rumbaar

3- Now The "Find Next" Will Guide You To The User Role, And In The Picture Its Marked By Blue Between Two ' ' (See The Picture) , Now Copy The User Role And Paste It In A New Notepad Because We Will Use It To Join The Group By Script.

[step-B] : How To Join The Group By Script Using Vincula Connection:

1- Now, Click A Right Click In The Status Window Then Choose "Vincula - Main Menu" ,Then "Join Room (Groups)" , Then "Normal..." (See The Picture)

2- In The "Enter Roomname" Window Type Your Group Name With G_ , We Use Rumbaar Group = G_Rumbaar (See The Picture)

3- Now The Script Will Try To Join The Room, But It Will Stop B4 Joining Telling You "*Access was denied to %#G_Rumbaar" It Means It Couldnt Join The Room Bcoz It Needs Your User Role, Now You Will Need The User Role To Complete Joining The Room, So You WIll Go And Copy The User Role That We Got From [step-A] , Then Go Back To Your Script Status Window And Type: /prop $ role (The User Role That We Got From [step-A]) And Pree Enter (See The Picture)

4- Now The Last Step, And Then You Will Join The Room By Script, Just Type: /hop In The Status Window After You Finish Step 4. (See The Picture)
