GD5 Passport Updater Fixed (thanks to xnextx and JD)

updated manualy still wont work, wat the hell :S ??, vincula connection will load then jam bot :'(, any 1 know why?

Do you think i'm stupid? The only thing that i may have borrowed in my updater from another updater is the Auth Line. And that is because it was quicker to borrow than it was to make up. Apart from that i went on doing it all on my own. So if you want to take a slog at me, go a head, woopy doo, you can take a go at a guy who borrowed 1 line of code. Do i really care?

lol TGK, looks like people are trying to get you to fix GD5, and they're resorting to childish behaivour to do it.

in guarddog doctor where is the new dogcollar file?? it doesn;t show in gd doc

the current one out is 1.2.6, which is still stuffed. After i get back from tafe (school), i'll try and fix it up.

ok GuarDDog v. 5 is back up and running. The latest is DogCollar v. 1.3.0. This uses 2 lines from JD's SSL updater. Basically all i needed to do was use 2 dlls located from mIRCscripts (which does the same job as the link in JD's updater), and used a timer and auth line from his updater. Though all the previous coding was used, from v. 1.2.4.

I hope this helps people. Thanks to xnextx for the update in 1.2.6, and to JD for the update to 1.3.0.

I couldn't get the udate to work in my extisting version of guarddoctor. Had to completely uninstall and then reinstall from the guarddog website. Just letting every one know that it does work and what to do if you have problems.

For some reason when I try to do a cookie/subscriber info update from the passport manager it locks up guarddog and I have to reboot to get anything to work again.

i have update DogCollar.mrc to 1.3.0 and it's not working in MSN Group. It couldn't find my Groups.

 

Error: Passport "GuarDDog5" failed to retreive UserRole for group "MegaHertz" [Reason: group not found].

Mine worked.Failed to get user role from some groups but they are adult rated.

[09:35] + Started: Updating passport "Geoff" [cookies + UserRoles and MSNREGCookies for all groups in My Groups List].

[09:35] + Finished: Passport "Geoff" was successfully updated in 213878.963 seconds [cookies + UserRole with MSNREGCookie for #11 group(s) from 'My Groups List'].

hmm not to sure why that is. I will look into it, but i'm not a member of any adult groups.
