Is anyone working on an updater fix that works with vincula and mIRC 6.16? or is it even possible to fix the auto updaters to work using mIRC 6.16?
I haven't had a chance to test my script out with 6.17, and so I don't want to rush in switching it over.

wait a few more days maybe.. there might be a updater that will work for any mirc version.. uses nHTMLn_2.95.dll ect and doesnt need mirc 6.17
im usin one now.. just gotta fix some stuff and maybe get the person who made it to realease it
This is a different updater. Not from JD but made by Vulcan I believe. I only modified it to set the cookies for Vincula using 6.1.6 or older versions. It will probably work for 6.1.7 as well.
Extract it and Place it in your mIRC script folder and load it using the command in your script window /load -rs vUPDATER.mrc. Follow the instructions in the supplied screen shot and away you go.

I received a copy of the vUPDATER from a friend who is using it on a 6.16 mirc. I am using it with the 6.1.7 mirc and it works fine. I didnt have to go to the command menu, it automaticly popped up a box for email and password, then updated and went and went into the chat room.
Works great. Thank you Vulcan if you are the one who wrote it.
